Open Edition w/ One-of-a-Kind Embroidered Paper Shade

A open edition with one-of-a-kind embroidered paper shade, this embroidered paper shade for our Mantis Table Lamp extends our ongoing collaboration with embroidery artist Nicole Chui, exploring the intersection of lighting and textile art. Inspired by the dynamic movement of footballers on the pitch, the design captures the rhythm, intensity, and cultural energy of the game.

Nicole’s bold, expressive stitching mirrors the fluid chaos and grace of play, interwoven with the poised, playful form of our Mantis Table Lamp. The result is a striking fusion of tension and balance, motion and stillness. Blurring the line between utility and art, the lamp doesn’t just illuminate a space — it activates it, injecting narrative and kinetic energy into its surroundings. It’s a celebration of movement, creative synergy, and the expressive power of unconventional materials.
